Happy Birthday to Me!
Happy Friday Friends,

I thought turning 40 was going to be a shock. But, I can tell those of you who are not there just yet, turning 41 is WAY worse. At least at 40, you’re celebrating a decade birthday, you’ll have a big party, everyone will make a fuss and you’ll get some cool pressies.
At 41, you’re just now in your forties. Boring As F! I also threw up in my mouth while typing that.
There are a few advantages that come with age though. One of them is getting comfortable with who you are; understanding your strengths and weaknesses. And, I love that I have many years of experience to draw from and contemplate. I consider this a superpower.
Especially if you enjoy learning like I do then you’ll have decades of experiences and knowledge floating in your brain. How often do you reflect on any of it? Not so often is my guess.Last week was my birthday so I took some time to contemplate a few things.
So, this week’s post will be a little different. Below is a list of 41 things that resonate with me at 41. Some are quotes. Some are paraphrases of quotes I can’t quite remember the exact quote or author. And, some are phrases that are values or beliefs I live by.
